About Rhonda Morrison

I hail originally from Missouri and Kansas, but I have lived in Hawaii, on both coasts and now live in Asheville, NC which I love.  The way I think that helps you is that I am comfortable around people from all parts of the country and understand different attitudes and points of view.  I have an eastern, western southern and midwest flair.  I have also been a writer for over thirty years and had many publications.

I have written a novel, short stories and poetry as well as articles for magazines and journals.  These types of publications help you because I can be your chameleon and greatly assist in any type of writing project you propose to me.  Whether you are male or female, writing your first book or your third, I will be your guide.  From start to finish.  I have also worked as a ghostwriter online for seven years.

Hence, I am familiar with all types of books both in writing and editing them as well as mentoring another author about how to compose and complete a book.  I have been a high school and college English and humanities teacher for over twenty-five years.  In these jobs, I guided many a writer from the beginning of project to the end in hundreds of research projects.   These qualities help you because I know how to flush out a writing project from inception (your original idea) through the writing process (including rising and falling action, characterisation, tense and tone) all the way to the conclusion.  In short, I know how to write any kind of book and show you how it’s done.

Besides being a book coach, and because I have finished a novel plus many other works, I will bring competency and passion to your finished manuscript and serve as your developmental editor when your manuscript is not quite ready for a proofreader (the final edit or copy edit). 

Here I will provide a fresh set of eyes to check for arc, character development, tone, tense and dialogue as well as sentence phrasing, pacing and fixing plot holes.  I will also help with the development of non-fiction books and check text, sources and more as well as aid in the research and development. My research skills are phenomenal.
